If your headshot looks like it just came out of a Vanity Fair editorial, odds are Marianne shot it.
Her curiosity helped bring out the best in me in photos that endure.  I was very pleased with every stage of the work, and she is great to work with during the shoot.  Did I mention her gear? Super high-end digital, and all photos were taken with natural lighting.  Superb experience.  Well worth 4x the money.

I had a wonderful photo session with Marianne.   I was in the market for headshots that were true to an actor’s unique features – no posing, natural lighting and, more importantly, that could be used bi-coastal. New York and Los Angeles photographs have each very distinct style in terms of lighting and compositions.   It is my opinion that her pictures capture enough qualities of each style of photography that would enable an actor to use her pictures in either coast.
I must have looked at dozens of flyers and comp cards from different photographers when I found hers.  Over the phone, she was very warm and welcoming; in person, completely delightful.   We discussed her work experience and her style and what I was aiming for.   The day of the shoot we met up, selected the outfits I should wear and embarked in a collaborative photography journey that felt more like a relaxed nature walk than a headshot session.
Marianne is certainly an amiable, easy-going and empathetic photographer.   From our first encounter she made me feel at ease and our photo session was remarkable.   There were so many pictures to choose from.   I usually hate the way I look in pictures, but I ended up selecting ten pictures out of which I printed four!

I saw my friends headshots who she had done and I just loved them.  I was due for some new shots and I knew I had to get Marianne.
As soon as I got to the shoot it was clear that she was a very personable yet calming person.  She put my self conscious fears aside almost immediately when she wanted to get to know me as a person before we started working.  The use of natural light and her eye for different shots were great.   I would have never thought to try certain angles if it were not for Marianne's great eye and willingness to try anything!  I have so many great pictures to choose from and it was so hard to pick just one or two.
My favorite thing about Marianne's shots were that they all looked like me!  That was my number one concern when I decided to get new headshots.  I wanted to look like myself and have a clear representation of who I am and what I'm about.
She did such a wonderful job on my headshots that, unfortunately for her, I will not be needing new ones for long time!  But when I do, I know exactly who to choose!
